Jessica Janzen is a motivational speaker, business coach, entrepreneur, author and philanthropist. Jessica’s world blew up in 2016 when doctors delivered the news that her son had a rare genetic disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). At the time, there was no cure, no treatment and she was told her son wouldn't make his first birthday.
After overcoming the loss of her son, Lewiston, Jessica decided she didn't want to be in survival mode a minute longer. She used her pain as rocket fuel to create the change she desired and built a life of joy and success. Through her advocacy work, Jessica breaks through barriers to make life changing impact for a more accessible, and joyful world. She is the master of getting unstuck and bringing the joy to any situation.
Jessica's mission is to empower leaders, teams, and individuals to reach their fullest potential by providing them with her Roadmap For Resiliency and strategies for navigating mental health and burnout. Through engaging storytelling and inspiring life lessons, she aims to cultivate a possibility mindset that enables individuals to answer the question of "So Now What" and spiral upwards towards success and joy.

Mindy's journey is fueled by an enduring passion for self-improvement, the law of attraction, manifestation, vision boarding, and an insatiable thirst for learning. But here's a little-known fact about her: Mindy is not just a marketing maven; she's also a Certified Life Coach!
In 2020, (while we were all spending a lot of time at home!) driven by a desire for a fresh challenge, Mindy plunged into an online Life Coaching Program at Rhodes College. Over five months, she dedicated two evenings each week to mastering skills that not only elevated her leadership in marketing but also brought new depth to her personal life.
Mindy always envisioned leveraging her newfound skills on a larger scale, but she felt something was missing – a robust system and a solid foundation. That's when she stumbled upon the transformative world of Human Design.
Embarking on a journey with Human Design, Mindy absorbed wisdom from renowned experts Erin Claire Jones and Jenna Zoë. Her fascination with this system, which uncovers one's unique individuality and optimal energy use for attracting aligned opportunities and making sound decisions, knew no bounds. This led her to become a certified Human Design Reader.
Now, Mindy combines the empowering tools of life coaching with the insightful principles of Human Design. She's on a mission to guide others in unlocking their true potential and helping them invite more ease and flow into their lives.
Denai Johnson
Radio & TV Personality | Holistic Wellness Extraordinaire
Growing up a sick, sad kid, Denai's personal healing journey began at a young age. Her life path has been about healing her body, mind & soul and is passionate about helping others do the same so that they may truly thrive!!
Denai Johnson, who has been a radio/tv media personality in both the Okanagan & Vancouver for the past 20 years, is a bit of a holistic wellness swiss army knife. She believes true wellness isn't a one prong approach, that there are many things that factor into us feeling truly amazing. As a result, she has pursued training in a number of modalities, including somatic therapy, nutrition, breathwork, and personal training. Denai is currently studying counseling psychology at Rhodes Wellness College.
Denai is so excited to be sharing her knowledge and passion with women attending the Build Your Brave Retreat, as she loves helping women get empowered to live their most vibrant, fulfilling lives!!

Caron Keens is a Certified Laughter Leader & wellness advocate. She has facilitated many Laughter/Wellness events for a variety of diverse groups & organizations over the past 13 years.
Looking after ourselves is the 1st major step in wellness. Struggles and challenges are an inevitable part of everyone’s journey. Caron will share her story which helps others connect and feel safe to share theirs. We are not alone. By making our own wellness a priority, we can more effectively navigate through life and be better prepared to help ourselves and others. Marina's journey in fashion started with a spark and a strong determination to leave her mark. At just 21, she won the Vancouver Fashion Week's New and Upcoming Designer of the Year award in 2002, setting her on a path that shaped her into the influential designer she is today. After working in fashion for 10 years, Marina obtained her Degree from Parsons School of Design in 2012, catching the eye of big names like Joe Fresh and Paper Phenom Papyrus, where her innovative designs and collaborations made a lasting impact.
But it was a life-changing car accident that pushed Marina to start her own venture in 2018—Art of Marina. This platform combines art exhibitions, fashion shows, and empowering designs. Marina's creations, from vibrant prints to luxurious textiles, are all about encouraging people to live authentically and boldly pursue their dreams.
Marina's own healing journey inspired her to write "The 9 Magical Butterflies." After discovering meditation post-accident, she found solace in painting butterflies she encountered during her sessions. Through workshops across North America, Marina now helps women release their trauma and embrace their inner artists.
Today, Marina's passion for empowering women shines through in every piece she creates. Art of Marina isn't just about fashion—it's a celebration of resilience and self-belief. No, travel and accommodations are not included, although the Watermark Resort has offered attendees a special room rate (while quantities last). We highly recommend you book your room as soon as you purchase your ticket to ensure you receive the special room rate. Yes it sure is! Food that is included are the Evening Bites on Friday, April 19. Also included is breakfast, morning break snack, gourmet lunch, and afternoon break snack.
All tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another name up to 21 days prior to the event.
